Dereck Huynh and Ailynne Fruto, both PharmD ’12, Salpi Yaghoubian, PharmD ’13,
were married on June 28, 2014. p graduated from her PGY1 ambulatory
care pharmacy residency at WesternU,
and was hired as a clinical pharmacist
at Ralph’s.

Jacob Arslanian, PharmD ’13, in collaboration with faculty member Dr. Olivia Phung
and her team, presented a poster on “Early combination treatment improves
glycemic goal attainment in type 2 diabetic patients failing metformin
monotherapy: a meta-analysis” on May 17, 2014, at the American Association of
Clinical Endocrinologists 23rd Annual Scientific and Clinical Congress, Las Vegas.
