EDITORS’ NOTES

Natalie Osayande, OD ’19, Editor-in-Chief
As clinicians in training, we constantly have to adapt to whatever conditions we find ourselves in. Whether we are in the
classroom, lab or clinic, we have to quickly learn what the rules are. As humans, we have to go through the process of
knowing when to resist and when to give in. We picked this theme for the magazine because everyone can relate to it, as
we are all going through this process constantly. I hope that this year’s edition of Humanism Magazine will represent our
internal struggles and the process of adaptation that makes us human.
