community has for WesternU COMP-Northwest. Students have involved

senior year in high school. Students work with abused children at the ABC
House; volunteer at senior care centers, including the Oregon Veterans’ Home;
host an annual rural health fair; work with patients at the East Linn Health
Clinic; and much more. You can even find medical students teaching
cooking classes at the Lebanon Farmers Market and
Lebanon Soup Kitchen in the summer. Through the
spirit of the Tools of the Trade program we are
training a different type of physician – a
physician who will be involved in whatever
community they choose in the future.
