Two WesternU Master of Science in Health
Sciences graduates completed a prestigious
fellowship program that improved public
health in two Southern California
communities.
Lana Clay, MSHS ’14, and Crystle Guevarra,
MSHS ’14, were selected for the Randall Lewis
Health Policy Fellowship, which places
worthy students of public health in targeted
placements for year-long fellowships. The
program was started by the Lewis Group of
Companies and Partners for Better Health.
Fellows complete real-world professional
development while accomplishing much-
needed work in local communities. The
Fellowship spans the fall and spring semesters
and provides a stipend that supports students
in accomplishing at least six hours per week
in their placements. The work is focused on
the particular needs of the target community,
