2nd Annual WesternU College of Pharmacy
Scholarship Golf Classic
On Wednesday, March 26th, 2014, the WesternU College of Pharmacy hosted
its second annual Scholarship Golf Classic tournament out at the beautiful
Morongo Golf Club at Tukwet Canyon in Beaumont, California. In spite of it
being a cold and windy day out on the course, we had over 95 golfers come
out to support scholarship fundraising for the WesternU College of Pharmacy,
and they doubled the monies raised from last year. In addition to our golfers,
we had several members of the WesternU faculty, administration, and Board of
Trustees join us as well, including Mike Quick, Dean Friedrichson of the
College of Dental Medicine, Dr. Tom Fox, Senior Vice President, and Jeff
Keating, Executive Director of Public Relations and Marketing. We also had
over 25 student pharmacists from the College of Pharmacy volunteering their
help for this year’s tournament, and they all said that they truly enjoyed
meeting so many of the generous donors and supporters who are helping them
