Sterile Compounding




NEW LAWS AND REGULATIONS | JANUARY 18, 2014

Over 100 pharmacists and technicians attended the CE program “Sterile Compounding: New
Laws and Regulations” on January 18, 2014 at the Hyatt Regency Newport Beach. The 6-hour
program addressed the major changes occurring at the state and national levels to ensure greater
patient safety through new laws and regulations. The speakers for the program were Steve Gray,
PharmD, JD, from Kaiser Permanente, David Miller, RPh, from the International Association of
Compounding Pharmacists, John Cronin, PharmD, JD, from FMG Pharmacy Law,
Amy Gutierrez, PharmD, LA County Department of Health, and Tony Park, PharmD, JD,
from California Law. In addition, Alan Huber, PharmD, from Biofusion and
Marvin Finnefrock, PharmD, from Comprehensive Pharmacy
Services participated in the closing panel.
