The Office of Experiential Education
Improving patient care by optimizing the clinical training of student pharmacists
WesternU College of Pharmacy Office of Experiential Education (OEE) can provide on-site CE preceptor development programs for
many of our clinical sites. If you bring ten or more pharmacists together for a CE (lunch or dinner), then we will come to you to
provide the CE credit focused on improving the skills involved with precepting students on clinical rotations. Contact the OEE for
more information about these programs if you are interested.
Preceptor Development
The Office of Experiential Education will be hosting preceptor
development programs in three locations this Summer and
Fall. “Evaluating Trainees on Rotations, The Good, Bad and
the Ugly” was presented on July 23rd at Universal City in
collaboration with the San Fernando Valley Society of Health-
Systems Pharmacists. Upcoming programs will be held in
Orange on September 24th in collaboration with the Orange
County Society of Health-Systems Pharmacists, and on
November 13th in San Diego in collaboration with the San
Diego Society of Health Systems Pharmacists. These live
programs will offer two hours of ACPE approved CE credits.
