                                                     Kaiser Apothecary Circle

                                                     In August 2019, Dr. Mario Jimenez and Ben Machado visited Kaiser
                                                     Permanente Baldwin Park Medical Center to meet the 2019 summer interns
                                                     within the Kaiser Apothecary Circle. These student interns dedicate their
                                                     summer to grow professionally and learn under the leadership of their
                                                     mentor(s). WesternU College of Pharmacy wishes them well in all their
                                                     future endeavors.
                                                     “It has been my pleasure to work with these amazing students and the
                                                     dedicated KP pharmacists who make the time to mentor them as they
                                                     prepare for pharmacy school and fulfilling careers. We’ve witnessed the
                                                     program grow from two students to ten, with a student now at nearly every
                                                     Southern California medical center. Over the last few years, we have seen
                                                     our students become pharmacists and pharmacy residents. It is exciting to
                                                     see them take their place providing care for patients in our community,” said
                                                     Art Dominguez, PharmD, Clinical Operations Manager at the Baldwin Park

        Back to School Night at Quakes

        “Take me out to the ball game!” WesternU College of Pharmacy celebrated “Back to School Night” with faculty, staff, and student
        pharmacists on Family Feast Night (FFN) at the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes stadium. FFN allows all guests to enjoy $1 hotdogs, drinks, and
        ice cream sandwiches throughout the evening. The Quakes ended the game in a walk off homerun bringing a win for the home team.
