Where will we go? What will we do?

Why stay? Papa, let’s go
From this place where
People mow each other down
Like grass, or Mama’s petunias.

Don’t we all agree that flowers
Are beautiful?
Can’t they understand that
Humans are just

Petals
That live a little longer
Are a little more fragrant
And Infinitely more
Loved?
